It’s time to pamper your skin with natural butters & essential oils! IT’S THYME solid body butter is an effective remedy for dry & uncomfortable skin, it provides long-lasting hydration, protects the skin from harmful environmental factors, and helps to reduce inflammation.

This solid butter can be used post showering, as it comfortably melts on warm & slightly damp skin proving lasting moisturization and soothing. You can re-apply as needed during the day. The solid form allows us to skip the plastic packaging altogether while retaining all the benefits of the superior oils contained within this bar. IT’S THYME is packed with only the best skin-loving natural oils and does not contain artificial (petroleum-based) humectants or fragrances.

To hydrate, moisturize & soften skin we use black cumin oil, murumuru butter & triglycerides from coconut oil. Organic black cumin (Nigella Sativa) seed oil contains a high level of anti-oxidants, linoleic acid (vitamin F), and thymoquinone, which is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound. It helps to relieve skin discomfort, keeping it hydrated and supple.

Exotic murumuru butter is a rich emollient & moisturizer, which helps to improve your skin’s elasticity, soothes it, and locks in the moisture. It is extracted from the seeds of the Astrocaryum murumuru tree, which is a native tree across the Amazon in Brazil & Peru. Murumuru seeds are abundant in vitamins, as well as myristic, oleic, and lauric acids. As the murumuru butter is obtained from the fallen seeds of the murumuru palm, it provides a livelihood to communities in the region & encourages the preservation of these palms. Our murumuru butter holds a certification of commitment to ethical sourcing (UEBT).

Triglycerides from coconut are both deeply moisturizing and nourishing to the skin, they naturally contain plenty of skin nutrients and antioxidants. While the triglycerides give your skin silky feel and nurturing benefits, murumuru, along with shea & cocoa butters create a barrier to seal the moisture in for lasting effect.

Essential oils used in IT’S THYME body butter have anti-inflammatory, soothing, and antioxidant properties. Thyme essential oil contains thymol & borneol, which are known for their strong antiseptic effect. It is one of the most powerful essential oils, and even at a low percentage it improves the condition of skin and provides antibacterial benefit. Thyme is blended with patchouli, cedarwood, pink grapefruit & lemon to provide a superior antioxidant effect as well as a relaxing herbal aroma.
