We Connect Buyers with Suppliers

We are a global business-to-business (B2B) product showcase based in the United States that enables buyers to source products direct from manufacturers and suppliers. Our Mission as a nonprofit organization is to unite verified suppliers with buyers from all nations, large or small and to make it easier for buyers to find the products they need.

What makes us unique? - We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to showcasing American products for export promotion.  There are over 591,000 manufacturers, 2 million farm producers and more than 9 million minority owned businesses in the US.  American companies can get started by selling products for free on our site.  International suppliers can signup for a 90 day free trial with no credit card required.  We invite all suppliers from around the world to also join our selling community.

Source products by State - The United States Markeplace enables buyers the unique ability to source products by all 50 states.  As an example, we created the Maryland Marketplace and Florida Marketplace so check it out.  Be the first to promote your state and the products that you grow, manufacture or sell.

Link buyers from our store to yours - When you showcase your products on the Nation Marketplace, buyers can directly link to your company website for obtaining additional information or to make an eCommerce purchase.  B2B buyer's seeking a large price quotation can also Contact Supplier on each product page and those leads go directly to you for follow-up .

Promote your country - If your country is not shown on our site, no problem! When you create an account, we'll automatically build a country homepage after you upload your products. Be the first to represent your country on the Nation Marketplace and become a part of our international community.

The Nation Marketplace was created to showcase American made products for export promotion on the United States Marketplace.  In addition, we’re also building marketplaces for many other countries who like what we are doing.  We encourage you to visit us often to see what’s new and exciting as we’re just getting started!

TEAM

LORI V. GAGNON, Chief Executive Officer

Lori, Founder and CEO of the Nation Marketplace, created this nonprofit organization with a mission to empower American manufacturers, farmers, veterans, and women- and minority-owned companies to compete on a global scale.

Seeing the growing influence of China’s largest B2B websites — and how this shift put American businesses at a disadvantage — Lori was motivated to take action. She and her team launched the Nation Marketplace to give U.S. companies a stronger voice in global trade and to establish the United States’ premier export destination.

Our Mission

At the Nation Marketplace, we’re dedicated to promoting American agriculture and manufacturing through an open, accessible online platform. Buyers from around the world can:

  • Browse U.S. products and suppliers
  • Contact suppliers directly from the product page for container-load or bulk inquiries
  • Visit the seller’s own webstore to make purchases or learn more
  • Establish new strategic partnerships with American businesses

As a nonprofit organization, we never charge American companies listing fees or sales commissions. Our goal is simple — to promote Made in America products and create the nation’s first charitable trading platform that showcases American innovation, craftsmanship, and industry.

Looking Ahead
In November 2025, the Nation Marketplace transitioned from a private stock company to a nonprofit, non-stock organization. Over the next year, we’ll be moving to nationmarketplace.org, bringing you the full functionality and transparency you expect from a charitable organization.

Lori is also taking this mission to our nation’s capital, working with government agencies and partners who share our vision — to boost American exports and create more jobs right here at home.

BERNARD GAGNON, Trustee

Bernard Gagnon brings a wealth of eCommerce and supply chain expertise to the Nation Marketplace.

In the early days of internet retail, Bernard pioneered online retail partnerships by developing an exclusive relationship with Walmart Stores, Inc., successfully placing more than 20,000 products onto Walmart.com. By 1997, he was representing over 40 major catalog companies, helping Walmart accelerate its vendor direct program and expand its online product offerings.

In 1999, Bernard joined BlueLight.com as one of its founding team members when Kmart Corporation, Martha Stewart Omni Living, and Softbank Capital invested an initial $55 million. As Executive Director of the Vendor Direct Program, he played a key role in launching the platform from San Francisco, overseeing the addition of thousands of products ahead of its debut.

Following the dot-com era, Bernard shifted his focus to global supply chain management. He held leadership roles at Kuehne + Nagel, a $65 billion Swiss logistics company, and later at Expeditors International, where he served as Corporate Manager, Global Aviation and Aerospace, leading initiatives within the company’s aerospace sector.

As a Trustee of the Nation Marketplace, Bernard works closely with the CEO to lead the effort of onboarding American-made products onto the platform.
