The Butijer family, has lived in Konavle Croatia since the 14th century and has been nurturing the wine tradition since about 1540. It is our hope that when you visit Croatia on a cruise ship excursion or for personal and business travel, you visit Winery Botaro to sample our high-quality, platinum medal-awarded wines and have a bite of local food, such as Konavle platter which consist of local meats and cheeses. Here, set in its idyllic location, you can enjoy heaven on Earth surrounded by wines and served by a passionate family.
While enjoying our tastings, we offer you four homemade liqueurs such as sage, cherry, walnut, and wine liqueur along with homemade sweets, clementine piles, and quince jell.
We also produce four types of wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel Rose, Zinfandel & Chardonnay.
